The mission of the Maine Cancer Consortium’s Prevention Workgroup is to reduce the risk of cancer in Maine through the promotion of healthy behaviors including, but not limited to, tobacco use, nutrition, physical activity, sexual health, and the reduction of environmental carcinogens.

All workgroups meet at the American Cancer Society in Topsham, Maine. Workgroup members are encouraged to attend meetings in-person; however, some participants may choose to attend via telephone.
